hey there, fan of the blog from italy here. I have actually seen Gallinari play and still have doubts. The good news is that over the last couple of years he improved quite a bit as a player. Whatever they asked him to do he did, score in the post, drive, rebound and defend PFs. he led his team, and although the european competition is not that good he hasn't just showed a lot of potential, he played starter minutes and was clearly the best player on the team.
The negatives: average athlete. He's a good player, but he could struggle to find a role on the bench, he's not a role player. He reminds me a bit of Turkoglu, who was the definition of Journeyman until somebody actually gave him starter minutes this year and he has produced quite a lot.
