do it. just drop him.
"Veteran power forward Maurice Taylor will fly from his home in Houston to New York today but realizes his stay may be very brief. Taylor said he and his reps have discussed a buyout the past two weeks and it could be done before Monday's training camp."
6.3 points 3.4 rebounds in 18 minutes per? not bad... but if isiah wants to dump him he should just go for it. or trade him... 9 mil of an expiring contract is sweet too, but if the knicks do try to move him, let's try to not to get jeff mcinnis...

Taylor has never really brought his game. Even when he started out with the Clips, you watched him and kept thinking: when is he going to really start trying? Too slow. Although there have been some hints of a player in there over the last year or two.
but that's not even the way to look at it, the knicks have talent. quality, overpriced or unproven talent. it's just the lack just chemistry and a championship tone. it starts from dolan. if you were steve francis, how excited would you be about playing for the knicks management?
sure, he's overpaid, but also a sure 15/5/6 on 90% of nba teams
most teams have a mo taylor... but garbage? there're some ballers on this team. that's the frustrating part...
well, just to play devil's advocate, look at the sixers? AI? CWebb? and what have the celtics ever won? the suns? would we trade the entire knicks roster for the hawks' one? sure? will it win? definitely not! will it be more fun? yes. as funny? no!
no one's taking marbury. it's a wrap there. he's a knick til the last year of his contract, but he doesn't suck. in fact, he's great! albeit last season was a lost one, but this guy has always performed. was he instantly going to turn into steve nash when we got him? anyway, steve nash doesn't have a ring either. with 1000% more talent too!
i just have love for this team still ,that's all
